The mother of the herd

May is a Holstein, a tall graceful horse who is often seen as the mother of the herd, though sometimes a reluctant leader. She travelled from Germany, where she had a previous life as a dressage horse. Although she presents a strong image, May can be very soft and caring and is able to form deep emotional bonds.
