Alice Short

Alice Short
From an early age Alice has always enjoyed being surrounded by nature and animals of all shapes and sizes, including horses. Troy, her haflinger pony, and Timothy, her young whippet, are two of her favourite beings. She loves spending time with them, whether that’s riding, walking, training or just being together. Between them, she says they have taught her many valuable lessons. Alice enjoys working with young people, helping them to learn about horses, develop their skills and become confident in their abilities. Team work is important to Alice and she is finding it rewarding to be guiding and managing volunteer groups. Alice also has a keen interest in psychology (both human and horses!) as well as all aspects of the equine world, and she is always looking to learn and expand her knowledge. She is currently training with Intelligent Horsemanship, and will complete the Level 1 courses later this year. In the future Alice is aiming to train to become an Equine Facilitated Therapist.
