We’re Having To Say Goodbye To Jack
It is with great sadness that we are writing to tell you about some bad news we have regarding Jack.
Jack damaged his leg in late February, he had stable rest (which he didn’t much like!) and our vets thought he was a miracle horse, as after many scans and X-rays there didn’t appear to be much damage. Having had a period of time back out with the herd, he had been showing signs of injury and increasing discomfort. We have had the vets back out for more scans which have shown significant damage to tendons and ligaments which are not treatable. It is therefore with a very heavy heart that we have made the best possible decision for Jack and in agreement with our veterinary team will be putting him to sleep. Clearly, at this time we are unable to have a gathering to celebrate all things Jack, but promise we will as soon as the coronavirus restrictions are lifted. With lots of love, Nicky, Alice, Jan & the Herd xx
