Nikki has huge experience of working with young people on a 1-2-1 basis as well as in groups. She works from a place of community. Her work has mainly been driven by a passion for equality, a better place to live, a better community and to offer a helping hand to those that struggle in our society. Nikki says, “I take a ‘grass roots’ approach to my work and meet people where they are at, not where I want or need them to be. This ethos has informed my work, work practices and career choices throughout my life. Although receiving paid work for my roles, I began with many years of voluntary work, enjoying the exchange and value of being able to offer my services whilst gaining skills in return.” Nikki is incredibly passionate about the work we do here and have first hand experience of the benefit it can bring to those that need it most.
