Growing up in Somerset and graduating from Falmouth School of Art in 1991 Jo developed a passion for supporting the creativity and development of young people. Working in London for over 15 years she specialised in access and inclusion projects before moving to the south coast. Jo has been working for the Environment Agency since 2017 in a range of local and national roles and in incident response. She completed the Institute of Equine Psychotherapy and Learning (IEFPL) Foundation with ETC in 2021 and has supported young people and corporate partners at ETC. She is currently studying a Level 6 Diploma in the IFEEL Method of Equine Facilitated Psychotraumatology. Jo became a Director for the Equine Therapy Center when it transitioned to a Community Interest Company in 2022. She is also an integrative yoga teacher and practitioner, horse and dog lover living in Sussex.
