Nicky is passionate about trauma informed, integrated therapeutic work. Having trained in a variety of different models, Nicky works in an empathic, client focused, neuroscience based way to support individuals through a process, whether this is short term work or longer term. Nicky will integrate Somatic and Equine Facilitated Therapy which is excellent for helping us to understand what we need to do to regulate and self soothe ourselves, assist clients to process trauma and integrate their new learning for helpful, healthy future outcomes utilising the brain’s ability to rewire (neuroplasticity). Nicky works with a variety of clients who have experienced trauma, attachment difficulties, complex trauma, PTSD, primarily working with clients who have experienced childhood trauma and with their families. Nicky also undertakes corporate coaching and mentoring assignments of both directors and senior management teams. With a background in strategic positioning and marketing company turnaround, Nicky is uniquely qualified to support corporate clients through both life and business challenges. Interested in the way neuroscience can explain how our bodies and nervous systems function under extreme stress or trauma, in addition to being a certified Equine Facilitated Psychotherapist Nicky is a certified Neuroscience Clinical Practioner, a certified Therapeutic Life Story Worker, a Family Trauma Specialist and a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals. Nicky is currently completing her Somatic Experiencing Masterclass with Peter Levine.
