Marie-Louise is an adoptive parent and has lived experience of how creative, developmental play, therapeutic parenting, and building positive relationships and memories with humans and animals can transform and heal early childhood trauma. Marie-Louise has lived experience of teenage bereavement and is passionate about supporting young people who have experienced difficulty. She trained and volunteered with central London branch of Samaritans. Marie-Louise is a professional dance and performance artist. She has over 20 years of experience in delivering wellbeing and inclusive dance and performance projects. She was awarded a Dance One UK inspiring leader 2015 for this work across the Southwest. In 2020 – 21 Marie-Louise trained in Equine Assisted Therapy with The Equine Centre Avening, completing a foundation course, now integrating this new knowledge with movement and creative play.
